The Twist Connect is finally here! The new quick connect socket outlet designed in Australia by sparkies for sparkies!

When installed correctly the Twist Connect can reduce installation time by more than 80%!

1. Simply remove the base by twisting the collar completely anti-clockwise until it clicks!

2. Check the polarity by looking for the red trace on the outer sheath or nicking the insulation.

3. Firmly press the cable into the channel on the underside of the socket ensuring the cable sits flat and is not twisted or crooked.

4. Insert the base and twist the collar until it clicks into position to complete the connection. To ensure the connection is absolutely reliable we've created a separate 1.5mm version (TWC1.5)with a white collar, and insert and a 2.5mm version(TWC2.5) with a dark grey collar and insert. PVC cables harden over time so we recommend these only be installed on new stranded cable to ensure the safest connection.

Not every sparky trusts the quick-connect style of connection, rest assured this was thoroughly tested to all relevant Australian Standards and trialled extensively in-house. If you'd like to try one out for yourself we've prepared a sample box (TWC-SAMPLEv2) for you to examine and try out!
